So, what is Pickleball?

Played on a badminton-sized court, Pickleball is a fun racket sport combining elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis.


A paddle sport, created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, yet can be challenging to master and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

So what makes Pickleball so appealing? Well, other than being incredibly easy to learn and start playing, it’s also fun and very social. It’s played by people of all ages and athletic abilities and the vast majority of players enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded people. It’s also a great way to get some exercise whilst making it more fun doing so. Games typically last around 15 minutes each and give you a good physical workout. It’s also good for you mentally – there’s a lot of strategy that goes into playing and you often need to out-think your opponents rather than just hitting the ball hard. So, although Pickleball is easy to learn to play, it is challenging to master!
